Reflections Competition 2008-2009
The Reflections program has been completed and all qualifying entries have been submitted to the state for competition. There were a total of 149 entries submitted to CAddo District PTA with the greatest number of entries being in the literature and visual arts categories. Although the overall participation in the program was lower than in previous years, Caddo District received a significant number of entries displaying the outstanding talents of the studients in our parish.
It was noted that a number of the entries did not include the required information, i.e., school name, LUR, student age and grade. Due to the volume of entries received, this ongoing issue of non-compliance with required documentation creates additional challenges with the coordination of the program. Simply pout, it is the failure of some local units to manage the entry and/or submission process efficiently. During the summer orientation workshop, it is recommended that the local unit presidents are strongly encouraged to review the documentation with those designated as their chairpersons.
