Step Forward's Workforce Development Program focuses on increasing the number of young adults, ages 18-25 enrolled in credentialed programs. Raising awareness of available credentialed programs and promoting these programs is essential helping youth reach their educational and economic potential.
Step Forward is seeking "Power Speakers" to go into area high schools and discuss the skills and credentials needed in today's job market.
For more information on becoming a volunteer "Power Speaker", contact Africa Price at Step Forward by calling 318-221-0582.

Each child will be able to take home a copy of the book that is read during the week. Students will be encouraged to continue reading these books and others throughout the year!
If you are interested n volunteering to read to the students during one or all of the above weeks, please contact Eugenie Bryant at 318-221-0582 or
